Why become an Engineering Trends
Member?
-
Access
to Report Library,
the section of our Web site that
contains general interest
reports based on research
studies by Engineering Trends.
Generally, three new reports
appear quarterly.
-
Access to Degrees Since 1945,
the section of our Web site that
contains graphs of degrees
awarded in the US. These graphs
contain US totals for
engineering and twenty-one
engineering disciplines,
including the only available
separated data for
bioengineering and biomedical
engineering and separated data
for computer engineering,
computer science and computer
science and engineering. Gender,
ethnicity and foreign national
data are included. The graphs
are updated as soon as the most
recent data become available.
-
Receipt
upon request, at no cost, of
reports in the Report Library in the form of
e-mail attachments. The reports
are available in either
Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe
Acrobat (.pdf) format. Graphical
and tabular data are of
considerably higher quality than
in reports downloaded from our
Web site and the articles are
paginated.
-
Receive, at no cost, a report
from a study of modest size
(designed by the member) with
each annual membership. These
could be benchmarking studies
comparing colleges or
departments at different
universities or internal
comparisons within a given
college. The number of
parameters included in our
databases is large and our
studies typically include a
broad range of years to indicate
trends.
-
Receive a 20% discount on
"full-scale" studies on
which Engineering Trends
discusses with a client the
parameters and extent of a study
and submits a proposal to the
client.
... and members get highest
priority when timing is critical
for presentations, committee
meetings and reports.
